Huge day at the office at the International Neurology and Neurological Disorders Conference here in Barcelona.
Job done, my presentation of ‘subjective perception and individuality in complex conditions such as ME/CFS’ was well received and put the conference behind by 15 minutes due to extended question time.
I then spent the rest of the day co-chairing the sessions and presenting the speakers with their certificates. Same deal tomorrow.
It is important that I post things like this for the credibility of NeuroPhysics Therapy, for regardless of what outcomes that we accomplish that are unprecedented, there are still lots of knockers in the medical system.
An American neuroscientist today was quizzing me about having peer-reviewed publications to verify the outcomes of NPT, and this is the way that many of them think. If it’s not published and peer-reviewed, then it did not happen. So I had to very politely express that it is neuroscience that is the defensive one here, not me. Neuroscience has not produced the outcomes that I have over the years.
