NeuroPhysics Therapy uses breakthrough science to achieve its goal of delivering care and healing to all.
NeuroPhysics Therapy is an extremely gentle, exercise-based treatment, that engages and triggers your body’s natural healing processes through very light and controlled resistance training. The therapy is consistently associated with observably beneficial impacts for people with a wide variety of mild to severe conditions including disorders, injuries, diseases, and athletic performance.
NeuroPhysics Therapy (NPT) originated nearly 30 years ago in Australia.
While training as a competitive body-builder, Ken Ware was surprised to discover a new phenomenon that launched this new field of practice. The phenomenon was a whole-body response to certain exercise stimuli. He learned how to replicate those responses and they produced benefits far exceeding his personal goals.
Ken realized his discovery meant he could convert it to become a standardised therapy to help others. It could be standardised because the healing processes it triggers do not discriminate or confine themselves to a single symptom or part of the body (the way medical interventions typically do). This is because the phenomenon is engaging the persons’ whole system, not just the “presenting problem”.
NPT activates the nervous system to stimulate the brain and body to “change their bad habits and open their lines of communications” for a healing return to proper function. This ‘bottom up’ therapy uses part, or all, of the Ware K Health Trigger Process® to access and engage the person’s nervous system. This allows the entire system to reveal its astonishing natural healing capabilities never considered possible by medical science.
NeuroPhysics Therapy is fast becoming recognised as an advanced form of training and rehabilitation.
The research to-date about the method and its results has been presented at International symposiums, conferences and published in renowned journals – impressing many in the scientific community with the unexpectedly wide range of clinical applications and their striking results. Publications and presentations explain that the human nervous system is solutions-focused, targeting the systemic origins of pain and disorders rather than the symptoms.
Developing and researching the science around NeuroPhysics Therapy from his 20 year career as an owner of health and wellness gymnasiums, Ken has seen the consistently effective results which emerged in those early, non-clinical settings, replicated in both clinical and non- clinical settings for many 1000’s of people.
