International Conference on Neurology and Neurological Disorders is with Ken Ware

I was recently recognised for my contribution to the 12th edition of the International Conference on Neurology and Neurological Disorders, held in Barcelona, Spain. The international conference, organised by Magnus Group, brought together researchers, clinicians, academics and professionals from around the world to share knowledge and explore developments across neurology and neurological disorders. I played a key role in the conference, participating as a keynote speaker and member of the Scientific Committee. My keynote presentation, “Perception and individuality in patient cases identifying the ongoing evolution of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS),” explored my perspective on perception, individuality, and the relationship between sensory-motor function and complex neurological conditions.

The conference organisers shared a special moment from Barcelona, highlighting me as I felicitated Milton C. R. Medeiros following his oral presentation.

For me, the moment reflects the collaborative spirit that sits at the heart of international scientific conferences, recognising the contributions of fellow professionals and encouraging the exchange of ideas across disciplines and borders.

My involvement with the Magnus Group’s international neurology conferences is also not new. I have contributed to previous editions as a keynote speaker and have been involved with the conference community for several years. The organisers have previously acknowledged my contribution to their keynote programme and the scientific community.

Being invited to contribute not only as a speaker but also as a member of the Scientific Committee reflects the value placed on my experience and perspective within this international forum.

The Barcelona conference provided another opportunity for me to connect with colleagues from around the world, share ideas, and contribute to an ongoing international conversation about neurology, movement, and human function.

As the conference community looks ahead to its next gathering in Rome, Italy, in 2027, I look forward to continuing to contribute to this important exchange of knowledge and ideas.

I am sorry the sound is not that great, which is one reason I populate my slides with a lot of text to elaborate on the content for the audience.
