More very special and heartwarming moments catching up with another one of my ex-patients, Emil, and his beautiful partner Astrid for the weekend.
Emil and Astrid travelled out from the Netherlands a couple of years ago to the NeuroPhysics Therapy clinic on the Gold Coast for Emil to work with me towards overcoming the highly debilitating symptoms he was suffering from, which were diagnosed as a complex progressive neurological disorder that could only be managed somewhat but not cured.
Emil very bravely responded to the prognosis to prove the medical experts, not wrong but blind to the potential of the human nervous system’s ability to correct its own errors when given the right set of conditions to calibrate to, which is precisely what I have managed to create during our NPT sessions.
Tonight we shared a delicious meal at Peroni Restaurant on the water in Baarn. Thank you warmly, Emil and Astrid, for enriching my time here in the Netherlands with your company and generosity.
