I had a really refreshing and rejuvenating weekend thanks to my ex-patient Jolanda and her husband Ruud, picking me up and taking me to stay with them at their home to chill out, catch up, and of course, go for a couple of carefree workouts at the gym.
Jolanda and Ruud spent several weeks at the NeuroPhysics therapy clinic on the Gold Coast 18 months ago, allowing me to assist Jolanda in overcoming the very long-term debilitating symptoms she was suffering from ME/CFS.
We bonded strongly then, and we have remained in touch ever since.
Ruud entertained us last night with his absolutely amazing freeform piano playing on the classical piano in their home. This was very emotionally stirring, and he is a true artist in all respects.
It was really lovely to see them again during my stay here in the Netherlands, and difficult to say goodbye.
